Who Can Join?
You can apply if you:
• Are aged 19 or over
• Resident of Kent County Council
• If you are unemployed or employed but ready for career change there is no cost
• Been in the country for the last three years
• Can commit to attending training over several weeks
• Have a keen interest in working in health or social care
• No prior experience is required – just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
Benefits to Learners:
On completion, learners will get:
- Accredited level 3 qualifications
- Be guaranteed a job interview with a local care provider
- Progress into further training such as Level 2/3 diplomas or apprenticeships
- Additional support with Employability skills
- Support to apply for roles, practice interviews and help to highlight your many skills and qualities
